framed! [17 Nov 2008|08:40am] kurt_halsey [failed_hope] so it took a long time, but i finall put up my two penguin sketches in my room.   ( penguin! ) they're nothing fancy. i wanted to use these pretty aqua colored frames i found at michael's, but they weren't the right size. so instead i bought these cheapy plastic frames and decorated them with snowflake stickers. got the little "love" sign at michael's for $1 and put it in the middle. and voila! i have a copy of "pop and the flash" framed and waiting to be hung somewhere, as well as a ton of postcards to collage with. but this is a start!   ( penguin! )   4 Names on my list But none of them could ever get me hot like this!

Contributing-to-society FOTD [17 Nov 2008|10:35pm] mac_cosmetics [1mp3rfection] I was scheduled to do a the makeup for a photoshoot happening across the island, and I was worried that I was going to be late since I had to rely on public transit (no one really drives in downtown Montreal). I instead ended up waiting 40 minutes for the group to show up to the photoshoot location. Luckily, the photographer was also on time, so I had someone to keep me company, lol. The photoshoot went fine, this was all kind of a side story to the fact that - I got a job! ( As a make-up artist! ) 17 Names on my list But none of them could ever get me hot like this!

weird makeup ocd issues (lol) [17 Nov 2008|10:24pm] mac_cosmetics [invadersads] ok so let me share with you a little bit of makeup ocd that i have. i see so many people in tutorials or just in general, who put on lipstick then take their lipgloss and put it over their lipstick straight up with the lipgloss wand... am i the only person who cringes at this? i am so ocd about keeping my lipgloss wands clean from anything else, i never put it over any product straight up with the wand! if i'm gonna do it, i put some on my finger or a separate brush, then put it on my lips. i get this mental images of all the lipstick color just meshing and mixing with my lipgloss and just making it completely not the same. it's like my lipgloss would be tainted. and don't get me started on using lipgloss that someone else has used, even if just once. i dont care if you "cleaned" the wand. all i imagine is the little germies migrating and multiplying until the whole lipgloss tube is one big germ pool. all i think of is this: anyone else like me? got your own weird makeup ocd's? 27 Names on my list But none of them could ever get me hot like this!

D; I no longer have the brush I was using to apply blush before..so now, I pretty much don't know what I should get.. so with that said, favorite mac blush brush? Weak knees. Yeah. Wow. Perhaps not the most amazing plot, but definitely definitely worth watching again. I've never made it through a Bond movie before, but this one was fantastic.
